Diapers as currency

Great news. My wife is pregnant with our second child!!

Needless to say we are very excited. Our 4-year old daughter is exceptionally excited about becoming a big sister. The baby is due in September so we are in the early stages, but this Spring will begin the transformation of spare room to nursury.

Sheri is doing fine aside from puking EVERY morning. Hopefully that will subside very soon. I am in awe of what women have to go through to carry a child. If I (or any other man for that matter) had to carry a child, I don't think we could handle it.

I mention diapers as currency in jest mainly because when we had our daughter we were struggling as my wife was taking a year off of work to raise her and I had just gotten laid of from my job. Not to mention we were strapped with huge credit card debt (which we eventually paid off). But I would always remember I had to think twice about what I was spending money on. I would remember thinking to myself "shit, 30 bucks is a box of diapers" which in turn translated to time. So, one box of diapers is 30 bucks which is one week. or 120 bucks was formula for a month. It brings back memories. Although it was tough, I am very fond of those memories.

Thankfully, we dont have to worry about it as much these days.
Will post progress.
